Since its beginning in November of 2004, the Third Thursday Downtown Glens Falls Art Walk has been dedicated to showcasing up and coming artists as well as those local artists who are already well established. The Art Walk has brought to the community sculpture, watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media, pottery and photography - and 2007 will be no different. This year look for exhibits by watercolorist Tom Ryan, painters Betsy Krebs and Jim Denne, and pastels by Dave Francis among many others.

Maps of participating venues and thier exhibiting artists are available each month at 6 Pine Street Gallery, The Lapham Gallery at LARAC, Ridge St. Coffe Co., The Pottery Place and NY Wine Cork. Maps and exhibiting information are also available on this website, sponsored by TechQuest IT Services.

The Third Thursday Downtown Glens Falls Art Walk is also proud to announce that it has received a grant through the Arts Initiative, funded by the New York State Council for the Arts, and distributed through the Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Center. This funding will assist the Art Walk in promoting nearly one hundred local artists and their exhibits. This should be a banner year!
